Executive Interview Series
An interview with Daniel Khoroshansky
Daniel Khoroshansky, a former SEL colleague and now the president of his own coaching and consulting company, Windward Coaching Services, reached out a few weeks ago.
He said he had read some of my articles here on my Substack, and wanted to investigate some of the topics (and more) in an interview for his company and website.
In Daniel’s words …
“Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is hands down one of the most prolific and impactful companies in the last 50 years — and dominates with its products and services in the power and utilities space for all the right reasons.
I had a chance to sit down for nearly 2 hours with David Costello, recently retired Chief Sales & Services Officer at SEL, to have a rich discussion on leadership principles, innovation, culture, core values, among other meaningful topics that he shared from his 35 years in the industry.
Lots of nuggets of wisdom for up-and-coming engineering leaders —enjoy!”
Daniel and I carved out a morning while I was attending the Conference for Protective Relay Engineers at Texas A&M University to sit down and record a conversation.
WARNING — if you didn’t catch it above, I’ll state again … this interview is almost two hours long. That begs the question … who would want to listen to a two-hour interview with me?! I suppose there’s only one way to find out — post it.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you. And, enjoy!
My thanks to Daniel for reaching out, for the invite, for facilitating this interview, and for doing his part to help folks, especially new leaders, develop and succeed.
